- Interior and HVAC work.

I only had a few hours to work on the car this Saturday but it was productive. First thing I did was finaly finish the rear-carpeting. The rear main trunk carpet was missing the button snaps that held it in place on the back of the trunk. I sourced these on the internet and installed them. They went in very easily, and now the rear carpet (although badly needing a vacuum), looks complete. I worked some more on the interior. I pieced back together some of the HVAC hardware. I checked all the vacuum lines, cleaned up the interior fan, and replaced one of the relays. With this out of the way, I was able to re-install the new footer panel, as well as the glove compartment, door, light, lock, etc. I also installed the new A-pillar covers that I got off eBay and loosely installed the center console to see how it fits. Everything is really coming together in this interior. I still need to get ahold of a new gauge cluster surround, finish up the rebuilding of the new 924 gauges, and when that's all re-installed... I can install the steering wheel and all of the associated items. Oh yeah, I need a new steering wheel too.
