Home Addition

     In January of 2007, we hired an Architect to design a new room for our house. This new room would add 312 square feet to our existing home's floor plan of 2,599 sq-ft (includes 379 sq-ft garage). The new room would encompass half of our existing patio. When planning for this addition, we decided we wanted full concrete walls (not wood) as well as a truss system set up to support three times the weight of our existing trusses. In the future, I'll be able to mount solar panels across this entire area. Below are pictures of their progress:
