05/12/2007 - Interior is almost finished!!! Today I installed the drivers side door panel. I ordered this panel from england. In England of course, this door panel would be a passenger side door. That works well for me because it means it will literally have little to no wear on it. I did have to enlarge the opening for the power window switches though. I was also able to install the new set of rear speakers. I installed Kenwood eXcelon 50hz speakers to provide at least some bass. I still plan to use the old OEM style subwoofer though. I also re-fitted all the panels, scraped all the old tint off the quarter windows and installed new quarter window gaskets. Oh, I also installed new upper door panels. They add additional sound deadening and luxury to the interior. The interior has gotten a little dirty (it really needs vacuuming), but once everything is finished, I can go in there and detail everything. The only thing left for me to do is fix the sunroof, install a few odds and ends, bolt the drivers side seat down, and replace the hatch shocks. Then the interior will be complete...
